Okay, so I decided to start back on WoW today. I download WotLK and everything and when i tried to open it, the buttons were missing and there was only text. Additionally, when i tried to sign in, it would say I needed to convert to Battle.net, which I did, and when I tried again, it stayed at "Authenticating." I read online that a way to fix the button problem was to switch to OpenGL mode which worked, only the mouse would lag and the "Hardware Mouse" option wasn't available. Additionally, it wouldn't let me log in either.

Is anyone else having the same problem? I'd like to get back to it ASAP.
