Im realy scared that when i get my fury warrior in the zul aman and gurub gear all ready to go to the Firelands, i am going to ask to join a FL raid and i will get turned down because most people require range dps, please can you tell me if i have got it wrong and help me please

Well you want to make sure you have at least an average item level of 359 before you start trying to pug FL, and try to be one of the first to get in the group to make sure you can get one of the few melee slots available.
