Default World of Warcraft Help me Decide Paladin vs Warrior?

I have played World of Warcraft for a while now and upon giving it up for a bit I am coming back to the game. But I want to start fresh with a new class and something I haven't tried before (my main is a hunter/shaman) so I was thinking of either a Paladin or a Warrior. I tried the DK but I don't like the class mechanics of waiting for the glypths. I mainly PvP but I was thinking of trying my hand on tanking. I have talked with various people who have both classes and I have gotten very mixed opinions. What class do you think is better overall in pvp? What class is funner to play? What class is more Overpowered in low level battlegrounds?

Note: With the paladin I will probably never spec holy on him. I have full BOA gear. I dont want a answer of their is no best class, i am not looking for a best class but I do want to play a class that does good at endgame pvp. And of course I want to have fun with the class (and I know fun is a matter of opinion). I think I have about covered it. Thanks.
Support your answer please. List pro's and Con's if you can.

Paladins have a distinct advantage over pure warriors. They are flexible.

In a lot of cases a warrior with out a backup healer is at a disadvantage. They can soak up tons of damage but they can be overwhelmed and will die under an onslaught.

A Paladin while is not at able to deal out the same amounts of damage or soak up as much damage as the warriors, they can often outlast a warrior because of their ability to self-heal. Many times they can survive a solo encounter that a warrior is only to almost defeat. Nothing worse than getting the mob down to a couple of hits away from death and dying yourself before it falls.

If you can find a good group or at least a good healer partner then you should go pure tank. You can pound your opponents into goo and let the healer worry about keeping your butt alive (provided you don't do anything stupid).

If backup is sketchy then you may want to consider going with a paladin in "Tankadin" mode since you'll always have your own resources to fall back on should something go wrong.
