Why are paladins better then warriors on World of warcraft?

Default Why are paladins better then warriors on World of warcraft?
They find it much easier to tank and hold aggro without much effort and they can defeat warriors in a duel even if they are lower i saw 2 lv 80s one warrior and one paladin and the paladin easily one.
