===========
Primary stats
===========
Stamina - grants 10 health points for each 1 stamina on your gear. Stamina is a stat that helps survivability. This makes sense because more health allows you to take more damage. While leveling stamina is a great stat for just about anyone.
Spirit - helps with mana regeneration out of combat. Healing specializations can regenerate mana with spirit while in combat. For warlocks spirit is almost completely useless.
Strength and Agility - these are stats that help classes that do physical damage. Warlocks are casters that deal spell damage. Strength and agility are worthless to warlocks.
Intellect - increases spell damage. It also grants 15 intellect for each 1 intellect on your gear. Very important caster stat.
-----------------------
Of the primary stats: Strength, Agility, Spirit, Intellect, and Stamina...
Intellect is the most important for warlocks.
Stamina is also good since it increases your health.
Strenth, Agility, and Spirit are all worthless to warlocks.

Secondary Stats
=============
Later you'll see a couple other stats on your gear. These are secondary stats.
Haste - Increases your spell casting speed. This means it takes less time to cast your spells.
Crit (critical strike rating) - Increases your chance for critical damage. Your spells have a chance to deal twice the normal damage. This is critical damage.
-------------------------
When it comes to secondary stats, both haste and crit are good for warlocks. Keep in mind that intellect is far more important than any other stat for casters.
