1) A recent Pew poll shows Obama slipping among white women (down eight points over the past month) and voters without a college degree (down seven points). Mr. Obama's support among Latino voters was a tepid 34% in the 13 primary contests with an appreciable number of Hispanics. BLUE COLLAR WORKERS & HISPANICS ARE CRUCIAL TO WIN THE RUST BELT STATES (OH, PA) AND HEAVILY-POPULATED LATINO STATES (FL, TX, NM).

2) McCain has an 11% lead amongst women nationwide.

This resentment is reflected in a private nationwide poll conducted this month by McLaughlin and Associates. John McCain had a 49 percent to 38 percent edge over Obama among all women. That is an extraordinary result, running counter to a longtime Democratic advantage.

Oh, and there was one candidate winning the Hispanic and blue collar worker vote, and the swing states needed to win the election - Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.
