Does full protection spec really make a difference if you're not the

main tank in World of Warcraft? In WOW, I see a lot of people debating wether or not having a full protection specalization really makes a difference. Currently I am speced as full protection and enjoy it somewhat, but I do not intend to be the main tank whenever I start doing raid instances. My question is: Should I specalize in something else or would it be alright to stay as full protection?
