Default World of warcraft: Should i tank or DPS?

okay so i am quiting my Holy paladin for many good reasons MAINLY pvp. but anyways i cannot decide now if i should tank or dps.

let me just say a few things..

DPS- i love because in pvp you actually have more fun doing dps rather then healing or tanking. i dont really know what kind of dps i want to be im used to ranged but im willing to try new things im willing to try meele dps. im looking at these 3 classes atm for meele dps. Warrior, Rogue, or enhancment shaman.

im willing to be ranged as well and this is what im looking at. Hunter, mage, and warlock. leaning more towards the warlock since it is a new class.

Tank- tanking is ALWAYS needed. i havn't tanked in forever so i will be really rusty but i do know how to tank and what the basics are and all that shet. my problem here is pvp. i dont really like to change specs ( duel spec) a lot i mean im a 1 man spec. i either love to dps, or heal, or tank with hybrids i usually just stick to 1 spec

anyways what should i do? i really like to PvP but i know it isn't everything and i do PvE more then i PvP.

PS- let me just state these i have plate heirlooms for holy paladin gives int+ stamina and def but i can use it on a tank ( i wont be bear of course ).

also if i go tank most likely i will go Warrior so i learn more rather then paladin taking it the easy way with all their AoE's. if i go meele dps i most likely will go warrior enhancement. range- warlock like i said.

i want to try new things in this game i been playing most/all ranged classes all my life except the warlock and i do like pvp but then i hate it as well because atm it is so bullshet broken you need heirloom full heirlooms to actually be able to kill ppl since they have heirlooms as well and mostly ppl are rolling hunters and rogues which is annoying still.

so PICK TANK OR DPS, IF YOU SAY DPS MAKE SURE YOU EXPLAIN WHICH CLASS AND WHY!!!.

and to people who just want to troll because i play a videogame just get out idc for your opinons nor do i even get mad at your ridiculous comments so your time will be well wasted and give me a good chuckle
hmm i think i will go tank. and no i will not ditch the heirloom atm since i am remaking it will give me +stamina and defence making healers life more easier but i WILL ditch it when i find actually gear that i could use for tanking and i will be remkaing a warrior see where it gets me hopefully not where the noobs be at.

Warrior tanks are easy to learn and play. When I use to play WoW, I had a warrior tank and it was easy to get gear and to hold aggro. Plus they are really fun. So I say go tank. But I would learn dual talent so that you can tank in raids/dunegons and dps in quests.

Tanking is boring. Yeah, you'll always be needed, but just to spam buttons. There is no challenge, and nothing changes. You will always hit the same 2-3 buttons and always do the same thing. DPS ftw! I would recommend enhancement shaman, but only because I liked it so much. I haven't played recently, so I can't comment based on up to date facts.
