fun race and class to play, with best dps soloing and tanking?

All classes can solo well.

Hunters believed the best but I find it boring, no downtime tho.
Warrior is fun if you spec fury, and you have to option of tanking later on. (learn first aid tho)
Paladin is indestructable for PvE soloing but DPS isn't great so kills come slow.
Warlocks are good solo grinders but require abit more skill to play.
Mages are great DPS but don't like to get hit so need to be careful around groups of mobs.
Priest spec'd shadow is good fun and great at solo, but suffers allot of downtime drinking for mana.
Druid is good but I get bored of always being in cat form. Good all round character tho.
Shaman I haven't really tried but heard they're good for solo.
Rogue has excellent DPS but weak armour so dies abit easier.

I'm working away just now but when I get home I intend leveling either a gnome warlock or spriest.

Are you alliance or horde? If you let me know the class I'll sujest race for you
