are shamans good at pvp in WOW?

Hi i am a level 46 shaman and i just wondered if shamans are good at pvp damage wise, and what spec is best for pvp also what they like at pvp end game? are they good against other classes or are they one of the weakest because i love the shaman class but i also adore pvp in bgs etc?
