find a skinner/leatherworker? This is my first orc, and I think the skinners and leatherworkers are all the way in Orginammar (not to mention the cooking). He's already level 7 and I think I need to restart him, and just make a run for these trainers.

What character level will you be once you get to Origimmar if you do all the questing beforehand, and is that level too late to get skinning and leatherworking and cooking started?
