There are 3 specializations a shaman can choose from, which one is the best?
There is: Elemental, Enhancement, & Restoration.

Not to sound like everybody else but its your choice, elemental is more for high levels but has some perks along the way. but including dungeons you have a 10-20 minute wait for dps role slightly different with Enhancement because you get the definite bonus of dual wielding weapons which Is pretty cool yet effective, also Enhancement I believe includes totems and weapon buffs but again with the extended wait time for dungeons now if you're a good healer I would definitely choose restoration you get earth shield with is quite useful and a not so long waiting period for dungeons etc...

So as I said before its your choice but there is all the infomation on all specs I hope you consider this and enjoy the spec you choose.

In the end it is up to you, at level thirty you can have a second specialization.I will explain each spec and why i like them.
elemental-It is a caster class, if you like being far away and doing a decent amount of damage i recommend this.

Enhancement- This is a mix of a caster and melee class. They can often have a really high dps(damage per second) count. I love being enhancement, but it is such a hard spec to learn and master.I do not recommend this spec until you have mastered being a shaman and are a high level.

Restoration- This spec is a healing spec. They heal others in their group, or their selves to keep them from dieing or falling below a certain percent of health. At low levels it is not that hard,but at high levels like 80 and 85 you need to be a master so your group does not die, or they will get mad at you and either kick you or leave.

Elemental and restoration work well together because there both casters. If you want to be enhancement i recommend restoration as your second spec. Remember choose wisely it can cost a lot of money to respec. I hope this helped
