i know everyone says they are in bad shape for pvp, but this is my favorite class. i quit wow 2 weeks after cata and leveled a goblin shaman but deleted all my toons. im coming back now on my spare time, which race makes best for the elemental spec?

Troll IMO, berserking is pretty sweet combined with bloodlust/heroism. And Elemental won't do well at high ranked arenas, but you can get fairly high up with a good partner. You just won't be getting glad.
