Default Perfect WoW raiding computer under $700?

I'm trying to find a good computer for my girlfriend to get back into raiding. Our Toshiba Satellite has been her computer for the past year, but it's now to the point of overheating within 10 minutes of game play. I know how to put a computer together, as mine was custom built... I just don't think I will know how to put the right components together ideally so that one doesn't bottleneck the other. I'm also open to buying a prebuilt system as well.

I want whatever we go with to run WoW without dropping below 30fps at ultra settings in the most populated and cluttered areas in the game. I am a slightly flexable with the price, but not too much over $7-800 please... Super thank you in advance.

Get a pre-built/ custom built/ self build PC with the following:

AMD phenom X4 955
4GB RAM
GTX460/ AMD 6850 or better graphics card

These are for a desktop, desktops are more power for less money and can be upgraded to keep up with new, more demanding games, they're just sensible for gaming so don't throw your money away on a laptop for games.

If you get a pc with this spec it is both upgradeable (to AMD 6 core processors and better graphics cards as well as RAM/HDD's) and will be within your price range.

ok -- Tom's Hardware Guide is somewhere to start.

I'd read their most recent review of WoW with a view toward what boxes run it well.

then i'd look at their system builder article from september -- the $400 box [that's hardware only, no o/s no peripherals, no monitor] and compare that to what the WoW article said. [add 100 for a monitor, 150 for Win 7, and 50 for keyboard, etc. and you've got 700 in all.]

I don't play WoW. I know it's not the hardest game on the computer. and I don't think WoW was explicitly tested in that system builder article.

Aim for a computer with AT LEAST 3 gigs of ram.
Upgrading a new computers graphics card is usually needed for games like world of warcraft.
