on world of warcraft my guild wants me to raid heal when im use to tank heals?

i have a disc priest and holy as a off spec im not real use to holy and i joined a guild that doesnt need a disc priest but does need a holy one my problem is that i dont have the gear for holy could someone look my toon over and make suggestions for me? fatherjames blades edge us server my main concern is my mana pool which is 28k in disc but only 24k holy go figure
