Me and a friend are doing RAF on WoW and he is getting 24k at the end of

instances and im not? At the end of each instance my friend gets 24k xp and i only get 2k any ideas on why this is happening?
were both level 47 at the moment and were close at the end of the fight. even when not in group he gains 8k minimum
