Default Wow raiding questions?

I am a Level 64 troll marksmanship hunter playing on deathwing and i was wondering how can i start raiding?
How do i join them?
I dont think i have very good gear so will people still raid with me?
Should i wait until i get to a higher level?
Where can i join a raid?
i know there are raid instances at my level like molten core but do level 60's even raid them?

First reach the level cap of 85. Raiding is only done seriously at the highest level of the game. The older raids like Molten Core, Blackwings Lair, etc etc. Aren't done anymore because quite frankly there is no point to doing them. To do them at the correct lvl with the correct amount of people is alot of work for very very little reward. So only the max level raids are done.

To join a raid, there are two main methods. One, join a guild that runs raids. or Two join a PUG raid, those are usually advertised on the trade chat at a capital city.

Gear will be important. After you reach max level, you will want to run dungeons and heroic dungeons to get gear. Gear will increase your damage output, which is INCREDIBLY necessary for raids. Dungeons will also give you some idea on how to act in a group, and some minor boss mechanics. Raid Bosses have ALOT of mechanics to deal with and any one person screwing up any one part of any of the mechanics will wipe the raid. So you have to learn to pay attention to bosses and how to work as a group.

EDIT - Also do yourself a favor and look up some information on hunters. What stats to look for, what are good rotations for groups. What to gem, how to spec, etc. Good raid groups usually want their participants to be at optimal performance, and that information will certainly help
