how come when I go into the PTR on WoW it doesn't show any realms?

Default how come when I go into the PTR on WoW it doesn't show any realms?
it has been like this for about 4 weeks now. what happens is I go on to the PTR and i log on, then it asks what type of realm best suits you, (I have tried all of them) then I hit go or whatever the button says and it doesn't show any realms.
