I've seen a lot of these recently on the PTR forums, but there's no blue answers, it's almost like Blizz is ignoring this problem.
I downloaded 2 Premades to Remulos, then downloaded the newest client, when i went to log in, it told me i 'had been disconnected from the server', grrrr. Then i read that the Premades were a bit buggy this time around, and all i needed to do was to copy one of my level ones to the same realm... did this but to no avail! Funny thing, i merged ages ago after my account got hac*ed, and when i put my old username (not email) in, it loads and acceots etc... but then tells me my account has been merged and i have to put my new email address in, i've always tested the new content, and i would really like to test the new patch this time.
