my marketplace is gone on my xbox?

when i equipped xbox live it updated everything on my xbox but the only thing that shows up is welcome, my xbox, and my friends, but everything else is gone....so i pressed the middle button on the remote, ad i found it it sed marketplace but when i click on it and took me no where,....how do i get on marketplace
