I have an HDMI cable that I use to connect my PS3 to my plasma TV in my bedroom and this works fine and always has. Recently I decided to hook up my PS3 to my other big screen in my living room through the one HDMI port that the TV has. For some reason I wont get any signal on this TV and it acts like nothing is connected. I figured the HDMI port on the TV in my living must not work anymore, but I ended up connecting my laptop through the same HDMI port on the TV and I did get a signal. So what I want to know is why can I not get a signal from the PS3 on this HDMI port even though I tested it with something else and it does work. Its not the PS3 or HDMI cable also cause I do get a signal when I connect the PS3 on my plasma.

Anybody have any info on this?
