Hi, my xbox wireless adapter does not work.. can someone confirm this for me?
 

Right when I plug my xbox wireless adapter into the USB port nothing happens and the light does not go on therefore I think the wireless adapter is broken however I am aware it could be other things. My Internet connectivity is perfect and I have numerous times unplugged and replugged the router but this does not solve the problem. I have also tested all the USB ports on my 360 and they work with everything except the adapter therefore the USB ports are not faulty. I have only had my wireless adapter for 2 months and it is already busted, I bought it off amazon and have contacted both amazon and microsoft via e-mail and neither really answered my question in terms of a refund so I'm pretty sure I wont get one however does anyone think I might have a chance? I haven't broke it, Its just been plugged into the 360 and one day it did not work.
Also the use of my ethernet cable isn't a possibility as my router is downstairs and my 360 is upstairs.
So do I have to face the harsh reality and buy a new one?
