I'm currently in a long distance relationship, and it's by far one of the hardest things that I've ever done--having him with me for a week at a time then sending him back for months on end--but, I believe he's worth it and I'm completely happy for the most part. However, he blows me off quite a bit for video games.. specifically one... World of Warcraft. He could spend hours and days on this game without speaking to me. It doesn't bother me that he plays because I'm a gamer too, but I think that this recreational activity is becoming something more serious. I just wish that he could "show" me some affection, especially since we're long distance. I am not a needy girlfriend, he can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, but I feel like he takes advantage of that sometimes. I only say that because he is spending numerous hours on that game, and not to mention our "sex" life is suffering. I mean when he's with me in person, the sex is fine, but I like phone sex as it's the best substitute for physical intimacy. I can't seem to get him to do that with me, as he claims he doesn't enjoy it. I've tried different things like talking dirty, acting out fantasies, etc. I recently got him a male masturbater to hopefully spike his interest. What should I do? I don't want to be the nagging girlfriend who complains about stupid **** like phone sex, attention, and video games, but seriously.. I wish he'd consider what I want from time to time--especially since there is distance between us. I don't want to come off selfish but I'm almost at my wits end. PLEASE HELP!
