People call everyone newbie....I was over level 100 in runescape and I got called newbie by level 70's and 80's. People are just condescending, it's their way of making them think they are better then they actually are.

well, either there are still many things about the game you don't fully grasp yet. Or people are trolls.

Because calling you a newbie makes them feel superior to you. It has nothing to do with your level or your skill, it's about anonymous children trying to make themselves feel better by belittling someone else.

You aren't as much of a |polished| player as the rest.

This game has changed greatly since launch. It was pretty tough at times and now all you need to do is Q into an instance and immediately level up with people ransacking the place. New players don't learn how to properly play their character because of this system and how fast they level..

Newbies were a pain in the ass to group with but now I don't actually blame them. Previous years, yes, it was their fault they didn't know, but today, it's not. They can't help how the groups run and how fast they level. You don't get enough time to explore your character and what it can do.

1) You just pissed off those people buy killing them and they call you noob just because.

2) You don't know how to play even if you're level 78. Noob is when people that are weaker than you or that are lower level can easily kill you. Just learn now to play, read Wiki about WoW and etc... Watch Swifty Channal on Youtube.

I myself reserve the title 'newb' for genuinely bad players. Maybe bad is a bit harsh, and I'm willing to offer guidance where and when necessary. Story time: The other night I was tanking Heroic SFK witha friend of mine on his i375 mage. The entirety of the dungeon I was second on damage, beating out our hunter and our dk. We finally decided to see what the issue was right before Springvale. The dk was: 1) in Blood Spec, 2) in Blood Presence, 3) and using two 1hand weapons. <--BAD. The hunter was in a decent spec, had good gear, and was using a good rotation. The problem? Her pet wasn't out. Minor issues, but decent examples of what I would call someone a newb for. But like I said I would try to be polite about it and offer advice.
