What the first two guys said.

Some tips are:
Be druids, priests, or hunters- druids can shapeshift, hunters can claim there own pet thing to help them kill enemies, preists can heal, and they all can kill from a distance.

When picking talents or whatever you call them, they are like Fishing, Mining, cooking, skinning, blacksmithing, ect.
you can choose a few now since the game has changed. Whatever you do, get fishing! you can fish as long as you want and you can get a lot of money for it. I would also reccomend skinning. Because after you kill something you can skin it and make money off the pelts

thats preety much all the tips I can give beceause i don't play anymore.

I will say that yes, the first answer is correct, so I will answer your extra tips:
1. Never have too many characters, it will delay your motivation to just complete the game on one.
2. You cannot share money between your Horde characters and Alliance ones.
3. Rogue isn't a race, but a class, and like other classes, it may not be an option on every race.
4. Remember, when making your name you can always use special characters if it is taken http://www.tedmontgomery.com/tutorial/altchrc.html
5. Like a lot of my friends who want to play, they think that they can buy the latest disc and play. No, you must pay for the first disc that came out, then the second, then the third, and the fourth (fifth coming soon) if you wish to play. This will be costly, so purchase the Battle Chest in stores for a discount (2 games in one, and they are the first 2 discs).
6. Look up acronyms for the game;WoW, Bio, LMFAO, and LFG, are very common.
7. Never play on weekdays, it can get addicting.
8. Though very controversial, if you cant seem to find the time to play and make money, or if your just plain broke, you can purchase wow gold. A trustworthy site is game4power.com. I am not affiliated with this site in any way, just providing information.

Have fun and don't be a dumb-ass Pandarian race!
