so i really like one of my best friends Nick and Nick just broke up with his gf and told me he likes me a lot and i told him i like him too we talk all the time and were always flirting and my friend Paige knows how much i like him and then he goes and asks her out.... idk if i should be happy for her or mad at her... i still dont know if they are dating or not because i stopped talking to her when she told me and the same thing happened to her with Hallie and Bob... Hallie and Paige were best friends and Bob was always flirting with Paige and they both liked eachother and Bob asked out Hallie and now Paige is all bitchy toward Hallie and now idk what to do.... why would guys get your hopes up and then crush them soon as they know your falling for them?? ughh!!

Yeah that's totally a dick move on his part to lead you on like that. Basically guys look at the entire pack of girls as choices. They may flirt with many to see what the best option is going to end up being, and then basically leave the rest in the dust. I don't like that strategy, because it causes mega drama that's just not necessary. He's a douche, be glad you're not dating someone like this...you should see this as a positive thing that he didn't ask you out now.
