Default Would this help the wow crashes....?

Well, Iv'e just been on the phone to a Pc fixer person guy man, and asked him to Factory Reset my Computer, Install Windows 7 pro and install a 3gb Ram Hardrive onto my Dell Inspiron 530. The reason for this is that when im playing World of Warcraft, if i go into a certain region of the game my computer goes onto a black screen 3-5 time before restarting and messing up. I am able to stop the restart by doing Ctrl Alt Del to taskmanager, when i do this an error message pops up telling me "Display Driver igfx has stop resonding but has recovered" From what i can understand, this means... My display driver igfx stopped responding < Smart . Anyway im currently running on a 2gb Dell inspiron 530 with Windows Vista - Home Premium. So yeah would what im away to do be worth the £190? :P
To Orabus.... Whats that? xD and i dunno what Os is... Im Terrible with the actual computer, i only know the basics. Click make thingys happen. :P Yeah umm Is 3gb RAM Not enough? Wow only requires 2gb Ram Max

Your video card or video driver is crashing. The first thing to try is updating the video driver. If that doesn't resolve it, your card could be overheating. Turn off the computer, open the case, then use a can of compressed air to blow out the dust from your video card. You may want to carry the case outside so the dust doesn't blow around into your room.

Another possibility is that the video card (GPU) fan is no longer working. I had three MSI video cards (separate PCs) that were all running the same card. Within a window of about 6 months, all three started having problems with the GPU fan and we were seeing display driver stopped responding messages. I used extra case fans and positioned them to hit the heat sinks on the video card for a short term fix, but ultimately had to purchase new video cards.

My guess is that your video card is over heating. What I can't tell is if it is dust or if the fan is broken. You may want to turn the PC on with the side of the case open so that you can see if the fan is spinning, especially under heavy graphic load (i.e. start up WoW). If the fan isn't spinning, consider picking up a new video card. I play WoW using the XFX HD RADEON 5770. You should be able to pick up an entry level gaming card suitable for WoW that runs about $80 (USD) and go up from there (depending on your budget).

More RAM and a better graphics card.

@Orabus: Windows XP 64-bit has some horrible compatibility issues.

Oh, and 64-bit is a processor that has 64 bits of data. You can upgrade the RAM further with a 64-bit processor.

Also, an OS means Operating System, which according to Wikipedia is:

...a set of programs that manages computer hardware resources...
