OMG! this thing is taking FOREVER!!! its only on 4% and is been like an hour. i know that it takes some time, but DANG!!! i know there are some ways to make it go faster but im so confused with things. D: i have Windows XP. and im using wireless, no one else shares my interntet!! i need like a detailed description on possible ways to make it go faster please! thank you

Greetings fellow WoW player ^_^ haha. Hmm well originally, when I first installed wow and stuff, it took FOREVER. I had to leave my computer on all night and into the next day lmao. However, I think they've changed it a bit and the last few times, the installation and download took only a few hours. Are you using a disc or installing online? Try using the disc if you're using the website and vice versa for if you're using the disc. Also, your firewall may be slowing down the download, perhaps try disabling it temporarily and see if that helps. Otherwise, I'm afraid all you can do is wait D:

Personally I suggest switching to a wired connection. Then I would make sure that ur pc isnt running anything else at all. another thing would be to disable the firewall for just the time of download. another thing i noticed is that the browser you use also enhances you speed. and the last thing i can think of is clear up some space on your hard drive.

Um direct connect will help, shut off everything else that uses internet if your running anything that downloads (lime wire, frost wire, utorrent etc.. ) shut that down too
