Default Wow Lock or Mage- which do you prefer for pvp?

so basically i dont hate dots, i just dont prefer an all dots spec. i like bieng able to nuke even a bit like moonkin. so altho im going feral pvp for cata in bgs. i am going to level an alt that may replace my druid later on. i narrowed down between frost mage and destro lock. dont like sp, i think moonkin is broken, and idk i just lost my love for hunter :/. frost mage looks soooo fun and iv always wanted to try one for pvp. locks...i did level one to 50 once and idk i mean its an interesting class, i just found the dots boring, like i wanted some bang. i never played destro spec but from what i see it looks really fun, jus wondering tho should i even consider rolling a lock if im not interest/willing to play the other specs if i dont like them? would it be worth it just to roll for destro?

also im considering which does better in bgs. like handling/ccing mele. oh crap buttons haha. handling other range as well. mobility etc
