I am starting to get back into WoW(this will be my second relapse) and am planning on making a new Horde character on a new pvp server. I know the most important part of picking a character is to pick one you really enjoy and so I have narrowed it down to either an undead mage or priest. I was wondering which will be the most rewarding to have once i reach level 85? i will be doing dungeons and PvP so ill need a all around strong character. I want a character that is not all that common and will be sought after by groups and guilds alike. I like the mage's burst damage and the priest's healing ability but am not sure what will be more helpful endgame. Also i am considering an undead warlock but i feel like thier really common, but if you make a good case i would roll one of those too as i hear they are great damage dealers. If you have any suggestions let me know, and dont be afraid to be extensive!

If I understand you right, you want either an undead casting or healing character. If you are looking to level faster and with less frustration, a priest to heal might be the best choice. If you don't mind the wait for Dungeons and being a little more common, the Warlock or Mage might be a good choice too. It all depends on your specifications.

Since priests can heal, they are in demand more than mages in terms of raiding. Though, you shouldn't have any trouble getting into raids regardless of your class.

Mages are fun because you can do some serious DPS and also wreck in PvP.

To tell you the truth, priest is the one class I haven't really leveled at all in my five years of playing WoW.

Warlocks are great fun.


I'm sure whichever you pick will be fun.
