my pet tencaty or w.e (tanking ) always doesnt put enough agro on the enemy so i usually take all the agro and must walk but and shot while the pet strives to attack. should i switch pets to like a dps one or will it be the same problem? i can't keep taking agro it's bull.

Ps- im a marksmen aka mm and my pet is a turtle (tentacity or w.e it's called) basicly its a tanking pet like bears.

You might want to switch to beast master for leveling. Marksman puts out way more damage than your pet can hold aggro against (as you're finding out). With beast master hunters, the pet does significantly more damage (and you do less) and holds aggro much easier. You may not kill as fast as your marksman spec, but you'll be able to kill non-stop with your pet easily tanking 2-3+ mobs at a time. I've always been a beast master hunter. I even use my ferocity and cunning pets for leveling (although I get out my tenacity pet for serious farming and such).
