look in your stable. either visit the npc where you can stable your pets or you should have something called stabled pet in your skills that you can drag to your action bar and you should be able to open that up and see all of your pets. you cant have more pets than you can fit in our stable. you will have to buy more slots if you want to be able to stable more pets. kind of a waste in my opinion. you should roughly only have about 3 pets. that is all i have and i have a level 80 hunter. i have 1 ravager, does alot of dps but cant stand the beating, and i have two cats. why two cats, i guess because i just got bored and wanted to be able to change them if i wanted to if i grew tired of looking at the same one over and over again. anyways all three of my pets are rare animals, took me awhile to get them because of the respawn times for rares. But if you go to
www.petopia.com, you will see a list of all of the pets in WoW that you you can tame and what their stats are. i suggest that if you are a really good player and know how to get your toon out of certain situations, then i would stick with cats and ravagers and raptors. they all seem to do the most dps which is a plus if you a BM hunter. But if you are not a BM hunter and your hunter is doing alot of dps, then you will tend to draw aggro away from your pet, which in turn will require you to do a little finessing on your behalf to stay alive and kill your enemy. this is very so with marksman and survival hunters. now if you are the type where you want your pet to hold the aggro all of the time and you are not a BM hunter, then i would stick with bears and turtles. yes turtles, sounds stupid, but they do take a beating and hold aggro, but do very little dps. Bears are your best choice. Now dont know if you realize this or not, but a BM hunter relies on their pet to do dps. The damage that is dished out is kinda split in half. so if the pet dies and you are BM hunter, then you will only be doing half the damage as you normally would because of the pet being dead. that is how BM works. now there are ways in your talent tree that will allow you to not have to rely on that pet as much for dps, but it will not make that much of a difference. BM hunters are great for soloing gameplay. Not only that, but if you are full BM hunter, then eventually you can tame exotic pets which no other type of hunter can do. Only BM huntes. well i hope all of this info helps.
