raid/dungeon? I don't have a spirit beast yet, but I really love my blue dragonhawk (A few ppl from my guild helped me get it lol). The thing is, people always say that ferocity pets are better than cunning, but I think now they both do the same amount of damage...I don't really want another pet except a spirit beast anyways...

Well you said you were an mm hunter, and as an mm hunter you can't use a spirit beast. But as for no ferocity pets in dungeons or raids, no one will care what you have in dungeons. The pet isn't going to make that much of a difference, and no one will even notice. In raids unless you're doing some firelands heroic mode progression, I doubt the raid will care much either. You should try it though, and see how it goes. If you get kicked from a raid, no big deal, go find another one.

It really depends on your raid comp and which helps you & your group out more.. Below is the buffs
given by pets. Play around to which ones you like the most.. If you're more than looks than to help your group be prepared to be called "huntard"

Pets:
?Cat - provides Strength and Agility
?Wolf - provides 5% crit
?Raptor - provides 12% armor Debuff
?Carrion Bird - 10% Physical Damage Debuff
?Hyena - 30% bleed damage Debuff
?Sporebat - 30% cast speed reduction
?Tallstrider or Fox - 10% Melee attack speed slow Debuff
?Ravager - 4% physical damage vulnerability Debuff
?Dragonhawk or Wind Serpent - 8% spell damage taken Debuff

Exotic BM only pets:

?Corehound – exotic - Heroism/Bloodlust/Timewarp plus cast speed reduction
?Silithid – exotic - Stamina buff
?Shale Spider – exotic - 5% buff to stats
