WoW- How is Chain Heal affected by Riptide?

Default WoW- How is Chain Heal affected by Riptide?
I know that if riptide is on a target, chain heal will be enhanced, but does the increased healing apply to anyone but the target. IE: if i riptide the tank and then chain heal, do all for chains get increased healing? also, if i riptide someone who isnt the tank, then chain heal the tank and he gets one of the chains, is riptide consumed and he gets extra healing? do the people who are in the chain after him also get extra healing?
