Why do people hate 50 Cent so much? Let me give you a little background info:

A young boy born in 1975 grew up without a father and raised by his mother, who gave birth to him when she was 15. 50 Cent's mother was a cocaine dealer and was killed when 50 Cent was only 8 years old. He was then raised by his grandmother with his 8 aunts and uncles. Giving this background he also sold drugs and dealt with guns himself. The Ghetto is an unforgiving world. During this time though 50 Cent would rap with his friends in their basement. Just as 50 cent is actually gaining popularity and ground in the rap game he is shot nine times in 2000. After recovering he was rapping again and this time Eminem noticed. Eminem put him on the label and now we have the 50 cent we know and love. 50 Cent is a business man and has gone into many different venues to make money. He has movies, video games, music, clothing line, tv shows, even body spray and condoms. Not to mention the opening of his G-unity Foundation.

Now tell me, is it jealousy? Any time you mention 50 cent to many well off black or white people, they start ripping on him when they don't even know the facts. So I ask, why the hate?
