WoW- So should it be Druid or Pally?

So...im concentrating on getting my first 80, and aiming towards endgame pve content as well as casual World PVP.

If I was to be druid, I would only spec Resto as it's the only reason I like them.

So which would you pick for those goals and longevity through nerfs and buffs, ect?
