Feral cat ( DPS )- good mobility, better dps then a rogue ( if geared correct and played correct " this is based on a rogue in par it's been proven feral cats do more dps then any rogue ); less stealth detection ( has a lesser chance of being detected ) , buffs, bleeds, armour reductions
cons- starring at an animal 24/7, is hard to lv up to lv 8. only 2 races per faction.
Feral tank- cons; imo based on tanking as a feral tank and healing them. they are not very good now a days. they are good 1v1 tanks but rarely can even hold up their hp even with a good healer. most of them are idiots to begin with but the ones in full heirloom gear and the best gear for their level still have HP and armour issues ( im a holy paladin and druid tanks die faster then me; that is very sad. my hp is only 2k at lv 40 theirs should at least be 3k+ by now )
the pro's about being a feral spec druid in general is you can tank and dps in the same gear IF.. it's a must. all specs and roles have different stats they focus on even a feral cat and feral bear although they can shapeshift into one or the other their gear isn't likely the same stat wise that is just for an offtank/emergency tanking. thats the only pro's i see this is also good for carrying flags in pvp.
Resto - pro's: conservative on mana if the tank doesn't overpull ( most overpull like idiots to try and rush it ) or if they are not geared correctly ( most tanks or shall i say people in general que up as a tank because of the instant que and they arn't spec'd in this or geared for it or just dont know how to tank and dont learn so basicly your mana goes down fast. )
most mobile healer ingame due to HoTs. all healers are mobile but druid is the most.
cons- you deal with a shet load of idiots as a healer, not only dps but mostly tanks. and resto healing is way different then the other healers i would say it's close to a holy paladin but still way different.
boomkin/moonkin- cons i dont really know any cons since i havnt had this spec but all i know for a fact they get owned in pvp off the bat. even if your 1v1. you will get owned by basicly any class.
pros- they do some good dps in pve and provide some good buffs, also if you decide to spec boomkin/moonkin their isn't much ingame anymore so that is a pro.
PS- they screwed up Druid class once cata hit; not before -.-" before cata Druid was OP especially resto druids. now they are shet. all spec's. without heirlooms a feral tank sucks until lv 60+, resto druid isn't OP like it was before cata and widely wanted for raid healing. it not pars up with the other healers.
if ur not into pvp then any spec will do but if your into pvp i highly suggest you stack heirlooms as if you dont already know blizzard fk'd up PvP and now everyone is running around in full heirlooms and making low lv pvp ridiculously hard for people without full heirlooms. before in wotlk even or early cata heirlooms was still rare but just about a month or 2 ago theirs been an outburst of many people using them in pvp i even farmed my own in less then a day 2 peices a day.
