Default World of Warcraft: Druids?

Okay so everytime I play PvP, (capture the flag) my group usually says i'm a bad Druid. What are some ways I can be stronger or not die as much?

[Yes, I'm still a noob.]

Your question yields a complicated answer because it's based on your gear, spec, play style and situation - mainly the situation.

For example, if you play a Restoration Druid, you need to stay in a group where there are toons that will protect you, as well as the flag. You will need to know which spells to cast, which Cool Downs to blow, which trinkets to activate given the situation. Trust me, there is no one answer to this. If you play a flag runner, then you need to be able to capture the flag and run to the roof top of your base if you're in WSG or stay at the upper balcony or lower deck in Twin Peaks, but you need a good defensive group. If you're not the flag carrier, you need to be able to protect the flag carrier. Tips:

- slow down the enemy or stop them, use your Crowd Control abilities
- you don't need to kill them, just make sure they can't attack or catch up with the FC
- buy anti-movement impairing trinkets
- always buff your entire raid up, use flasks and food buffs
- stack resilience and Int, as well as Stamina of course, don't wear PvE gear
- learn to 'dizzy' your opponents by moving around constantly

It's better to have on-hands coaching than reading up guides. Guides are good as starters but hands-on is better.

If you're Horde and ever consider playing on the Nordrassil server, join up with Team TB. They're a friendly group of people whom have had years of WoW experience.

depending on your level and spec there are different roles to play in pvp. in Warsong gulch at lower levels druids are the best flag runners when specced in feral combat and take the feral swiftness talent early on, this talent gives you up to a 30% increased movement speed while in cat form which is handy for running the flag back to your flag room. when running back with the flag, if you start getting attacked (which probably will happen) repeatedly click (spam) rejuvination whilst still runing with the flag. rejuvination has saved my hide so many times in warsong gulch because it has an instant heal and a heal over time (HoT) effect. this should help you stay alive until your team manages to help you out by picking of the enemies that are chasing you.

when you get travel form things become alot easier as you can race past any opposition you encounter, but dont rely on speed to get away from enemies, still spam rejuvination when attacked just to be on the safe side. another tip when running with the falg would be to stay with healers (they get annoyed when you keep darting out of range), these healers will give you the back up you need when your health is low. as for restoration and balance druids id say follow the other healers and spell casters and take hints from them, i rarely leave my feralforms and im the main flag runner in most groups so i dont really know about restoration or balance :S

Hope this helped,
Feralbone
