Ok so iv been told that for Death knight tanking i should be capping mastery over avoidance stats which im currently doing atm but then i see all the top death knights on my server that have finished firelands they have been stacking avoidance stats + stamina.

I know that if you go with the mastery build and you are hit and expertise capped you will be guaranteed a absorbtion shield, but if you went with avoidance you will have to rely on the RGN (randomly generated number) so u are not always guaranteed a dodge or parry.

so if anyone could tell me which would be better?
